The ultimate MOT treatment for men that need to unwind, destress and chill after a hard day at work or a gym session. This customised massage will relive tension and induce a sense of relaxation. It combines a mixture of Thai stretches with Swedish massage techniques and hot stones to aid the mind and body to relax and revived.

What to expect

This massage uses warm oils and you can be covered by a blanket (so you can undress to a comfortable level or go commando)

The treatment covers back, legs, buttocks, thighs/quads, shoulders and neck. The Full MOT  (90 min) allows more areas to be covered and includes additional techniques for a total re-boot.

The hammam is a real place of purification of the body and the soul.

A top-to-toe Moroccan cleansing experience that begins with a fresh mint tea and Turkish delights to start your journey of tranquility.

Then you are invited to have a hot shower with rosemary and eucalyptus infused sugar rub to open up your pores before your treatment begins.

Your body is doused with warm water by your Tellak (old fashioned term for a male hamman masseur) as Savon Noir/Beldi a traditional black cleansing soap made from crushed olives and nourishing olive oil is applied to wash away all your impurities. The soap is infused with eucalyptus, which provides antibacterial and antiseptic properties and ensures an even deeper cleanse. A Kessa glove is used to exfoliate your skin with a combination of movements as your skin is nourished.

The ritual finishes with an application of Moroccan warm rose argan oil for a full body hydrating massage that will leave your skin soft as your dream away of Moroccan journeys.

A nurturing treatment using touch, acupressure and Ohashaitsu techiques.

The treatment will begin by gently touching your abdominal area. This is called a hara diagnosis and guides me develop a treatment plan in the session. Shiatsu is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and is an energy treatment working on the meridians in the body. The treatment works to help the "Qi"move around the meridians to support overall health.

This treatment is received on the floor clothed, bring loose clothes such as joggers, T shirt or even your PJ's!

A neuro-trauma informed body therapy

NRRT® is a form of gentle body work consisting in bilateral movement stimulation for brain and parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) activation which resets the central nervous system (CNS) and it is inspired by years of clinical experience and observation, modern neuroscience, playfulness, curiosity, Gestalt psychotherapy and ancient Japanese and Indian techniques.

I was taught by Ana Guerrero who developed the treatment. This treatment is great for anyone who is neuro-diverse, experienced trauma or struggling with chronic illness.

Originally given to Balinese and Javanese royalty

Traditionally in Bali, massages was only performed by men – healers known as Balians (traditional Balinese healers who work with divine energy). I had the priviledge of being trained in Bali by Bali BISA when I was staying there.

A Balinese massage is believed to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and "qi" (energy) around your body in order to bring a sense of wellbeing, calm and deep relaxation. The massage works on the twelve meridian lines running through the body, with each meridian related to different functions and parts of the body.

The massage is an amalgamation of various techniques like acupressure, Thai massage, reflexology, percussion and gentle & firm stroking with the application of special aroma oils.

The massage begins with long stretches and deep pressure followed by acupressure on the twelve meridian lines running through the body.

Next warm oil is applied with the palms of the hands to soothe and balance your body, mind and spirit. A traditional Balinese massage includes massaging the stomach area (which is optional) for its many health and healing benefits.

Finally the massage concludes with an uplifting facial and a rejuvenating head pressure point massage.

A traditional hot or cold complimentary drink will be offered for your enjoyment.
